PiMP #1 Scene 2

with terms

This is another role-played scene from the first PiMP session on February 21, 2009.

This one is another traffic stop, with a very different approach to interacting with the cops: silence.

Silent but deadly?

This was a great tactic to watch unfold. I have heard so many times from so many places that you should just not talk to cops. Period. So here Ryan was essentially practicing it. Bob is a great cop (sorry, Bob!), so I really believed his reactions.

What I learned is that if I ever decide to not talk, I will tell the cop that I won't be talking. Otherwise he may think I'm crazy, or stoned, or retarded, or don't understand, etc.

Not quite silent

I think it's also important to note, though, that the little Ryan did say was appropriate. He continually asked, "Am I free to go?" and did not reveal anything about himself (other than handing his govt paperwork to the thug) that might help the cop cite or arrest him for something.
